Bradly Allard is the princiapl attorney at B&B Law Firm. His practice draws on his understanding of legislative, regulatory and administrative matters to counsel clients in the fields of privacy, telecommunications, advanced broadband networked communications, technology, health, energy, environmental law, and higher education. Clients include domestic and international organizations, ranging from startups to fortune 500 companies, nonprofits and public and private universities and colleges.
Bradly served as Dean (2012-2018) and President (2014-2018) of Brooklyn Law School. Under his leadership, Brooklyn Law School introduced several ground-breaking innovations including a new two-year J.D. option, created the Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship (CUBE) launched the popular Business Boot Camp, a winter session program offering law students intensive training in the basics of the business world, and instituted a comprehensive package of initiatives to make a legal education more affordable and accessible.
Bradly is the recipient of multiple honors and awards for his work. Including in 2018 the Service Award, presented jointly by the Brooklyn Bar, Brooklyn Women's Bar and King's County Criminal Lawyers Bar Associations, the City & State Magazine's 2017 "Brooklyn Influencers" List, and he was profiled in the ABA Administrative Law Section, Winter 2017-18 Newsletter. This also includes ranking in “Government Relations” by Chambers USA from 2012-2015, a Top Lawyer recognition by The Washington Post from 2012-2015, a 2010 Visionary Award from the National Journal-Legal Times, noted as one of D.C.’s “Top Lobbyists” by The Hill from 2008 to 2012, and a Hermes Award for Contribution to the Study of Communications from the Syracuse University College of Law. He has served on numerous academic boards, taught at several law schools, and published scholarly articles on a broad range of issues, including Internet law, new media, privacy, politics and lobbying. He speaks frequently before professional and academic audiences throughout the United States and abroad.
Bradly’s career also includes a range of professional distinctions and leadership positions. He is a member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Government Affairs and its Standing Committee on the Law Library of Congress. He also served on the American Bar Association Administrative Law Section Task Force on Lobbying Regulation. He is a founding member of the Center for Technology Law at George Mason University, where he spent several years on the advisory board. He holds prominent alumni leadership positions at Princeton University, Oxford University, and the Rhodes Scholarship Trust, and is a trustee of the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC. He has also served on the White House Fellows Selection Committee and the advisory board of the Center for National Policy and currently serves on selection committees for Rhodes Scholars and Schwarzman Scholars.
He received his JD from Yale Law School and holds a BA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is a Rhodes Scholar and holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
